First steps into networking
Workshop - 90'
Service Description
An interactive 90' workshop to rebuild your network abroad — with confidence and purpose. One of the biggest challenges of living abroad isn’t just the logistics — it’s rebuilding your social and professional circles from scratch. New language, new culture, limited time, fear of “bothering” people, or simply not knowing where to start… networking can quickly feel intimidating. You’re not alone. Many expats find themselves asking: What should I say? How do I approach people? How do I create meaningful connections in a new environment? In this workshop, we’ll demystify it all and make it more natural with practice! We’ll begin with a 30-minute, step-by-step presentation — designed specifically for expats. You’ll learn how to navigate cultural nuances, build authentic connections, and communicate your story with confidence. Then, it’s your turn to practice in small groups of 2 to 3. You’ll have the opportunity to introduce yourself, share your context, and receive personalized feedback to help you refine your approach and expand your circles — personally and professionally. You will also get a cheat sheet with conversation ice breakers. You’ll leave with practical tools, renewed confidence, and a clear action plan to start meeting the right people — and slowly recreating a sense of belonging.
